Last flight coming back to base. A relieved crew and a grateful feeling for NATO troops and civilians alike. The first day for weeks with no casualties. The silence when these big helicopters shut down is overpowering, and always signals the end of another day

Interesting picture, Mark.
I like your compositon and POV - the helicopter looks majestic while landing. Is this a hint for the spectator to interprete this object as a thing that means a lot for you?
