Photographer’s Note
A man feeding the white pigeons of the shrine of Hazrat Ali, the son-in-law and cousin of the Prophet Mohammed in the city of Mazar-e-Sharif in Balkh province of Ariana. The site is so sacred that all pigeons that come to reside near the shrine will turn white within 40 days. Seeing as the hundreds of pigeons are indeed white except for a few new arrivals still in transition that display only a small amount of coloration.

Turning the pigeons white ????
What about creating some water wells for the people of Afghanistan... Turning the rocky soil into a harvested one...
Transforming each and every AK-47 in your country into a plow, or pencil, or a mountain bike...
Isn't our world the most amazing place to live, Khalil ?
regards
g.
PS: Good picture, though...
Neatly presented.
Best wishes, pal.

Hi Khalil
A nice picture of the man with the pigeons but I don't like the large frame and title below. It takes too much attention away, but you made a nice actionshot.
greetings Albrecht

Hello Khalil!
This is excptionally good photograph of daily life in Afghanistan. Good POV, decent colours and also good work with small depth of field. Well done, re-do the frame and it will be perfect.
TFS,
viktor
