[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Good Morning TE! Today a portrait (already half of you are not interested anymore, haha)

This photo was taken shortly after I arrived in Afghanistan, towards the end of the Buzkachi season. I’ll talk more about it when the first games start again, and when I’ll get more opportunities to document the frenzy. So for now, I just post you a photo of a well known Mollah in the area, who was preparing for the game, checking his future oppponents.
Talk more about it later.

See you soon,
Vincent

Hi Vincent,

Very good picture, well shown subject, black and white work perfectly here.

cheers

p.s. what you're doing in Afghanistan?

Hello Vincent

Well I was interested after reading your note!
It is in fact a very nice portrait.
The people of afganistan have their own style that is a bit different from the other countries in this region.
Jaded is the word I'm looking for.
Your note works to bring more story to this shot.

Hello Vincent,
This is a lovely and strong portrait. I like the side view and the close framing. We can see the details so well: the turban, the beard, but especially the expression in his eyes. The B/W is perfect.

Very nice portrait. We can feel his concentration on his face, and the inquisit look.
