Photographer’s Note
I took this photo of a 2000 year-old Stupa (Buddhist shrine or reliquary) through the window of a moving humvee in the Nangarhar countryside. Levels and sharpness were adjusted to compensate for the distorting effect of the bullet-proof glass.
