Photographer’s Note
These three young lads squat by the side of the road watching the world go by. I wonder what their thoughts are as the slow pace of life gradually goes on around them? What do they think of the tourists who have briefly stopped for breakfast at the chaikhana down the road?
They seem to have so much time for watching and thinking - one wonders if there is nothing else for them in life.

jonathan,
great compo and if one lad would shut his mouth up with his hand and the other one would close his ears with his hands then the pic would hit the top:-)POV is nice, and well captured.

Wonderful triple portrait! First of all, I like the expressions, pensive, curious, direct. Of course, there always has to be someone who is looking away, but it doesn't detract from the photo. Good use of the light as well, as the shadows are not too dark. Great work!

Hi Jonathan, A nice shot with the well lined up young men. You have well captured the dusty looking on their body. Nice shot to the environment with the special houses in the back. A well taken picture.

Hi jonathan,
Great shot of these 3 boys. I always be attracted by the eyes in such pictures. Here it's strange to see that the first one has is eyes wide open, the middle one mid open and the third has them completly closed. Strange isn't it ?

Very good framing, Jonathan, and I like the DOF that you have used here - deep enough to keep all three young men clearly in focus, but shallow enough to throw the background just slightly out of focus. As well as the framing, your low POV enables us to see something of the village environment in which these young memn are living. Good lighting too. Cheers . . . David
