You can see the Band-e- Amir and its landscape from a distance.
In Dari (Persian) Band means Dam and Amir (Arabic) means Prince or Knight etc.
The Local people is calling this Band-e-Amir, because they belive that Imama Ali (Fourth Khalif of Sunni & Other Fiqh of Muslims & First Imam of Shia Fiqh also famous with name Amir ul Momineen) came here and asked the water to stop. And you can see that the water is stopped a little bit higher than the barrier.

HI Muhammed,
Nice picture of this Waterfall. It is impressive like this. And with the hot weather in summer, it is pleasant to have this fresh water. Good composition.
