Photographer’s Note
You can see the Band-e- Amir and its landscape from a distance.
In Dari (Persian) Band means Dam and Amir (Arabic) means Prince or Knight etc.
The Local people is calling this Band-e-Amir, because they belive that Imama Ali (Fourth Khalif of Sunni & Other Fiqh of Muslims & First Imam of Shia Fiqh also famous with name Amir ul Momineen) came here and asked the water to stop. And you can see that the water is stopped a little bit higher than the barrier.

baqir,
even though the sky is cloudy and thus the color looks a bit dull but if one looks closely they can see the array of different colors in this composition. i like your composition with the green on the fg.

Baqir, this place is amazing, ain't it? The view is beautiful and so is the trail following the shot. More contrast and sharpness would have been real addition to the beauty of the shot. I believe the gloomy clouds have distracted teh real beauty of the pic. All the Best and looking forward to seeing more of your pix. TFS
