Photographer’s Note
Another shot of one of the fabulous blue lakes of Band-e-Amir. This one is taken on the cliffs above the "resort" area mentioned in my last post. I made very sure that I stuck to the well worn tracks in case of any unexploded ordnance that might be lying around the place.
The picture shows the boat that takes visitors on a trip to the other end of the lake. In my experience this makes Band-e-Amir the most touristy place in all of Afghanistan.

Hola amigo
Nuevamente nos presentan un excelente lugar de un pais con encanto propio. La barca parece que estuviera esperando que tomaras la toma.
Buen trabajo

Your blue lake series gets better and better Jonathan, but my only disappointment with this one is that it is a tourist boat in the picture. It certainly needs a boat to give it scale, but what a pity there was no old fishing boat around - although given the desolation that we see around this lake, it is surprising to find any type of boat there. Cheers . . . David

Hi Jonathan, Thanks for bringing us to have a closer look at the beautiful lake. The boat provide not only the reference to the size, it also bring out the dynamics to this quiet scenery. A nice composition and an excellent shot. Well done.
