Photographer’s Note
Silk Road travel:
Afghans are reconstructing their perilous passage to the next village. They do it all with hand tools otr the bare hands. Talk about hard life. The Panj river in front separates Afghan Badakhstan from Tajik Badakhshan. We are near the village of Chasnud at 1700 m alt. (see also "Map: View"), the nearest footbridge that connects over the Panj to a road is about 100 km of such footpaths away.

Hi Dietrich,
Catch very unusual. I like this POV.
Parallelism enters the road and the river among the chaos of the rocks is interesting.
Where stays you to take this photograph?
It is intrigant considering the contents of your note.
Thanks for sharing
Pierre
