[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Every year the sea around Antarctica goes through a cycle of freezing and thawing. As the austral summer advances the frozen surface of the sea starts breaking up along its edges forming enormous icebergs.

This picture was taken from the helicopter flying low over the ice edge. Near the center of the picture, on the large piece of ice is a cluster of BLACK DOTS. Each of these dots is a penguin!

Hi Kaustubh,

I like this capture which creates great composition due to nice and interesting motive. Broken lines and great colour contrast give somehow graphic effect. And after reading your note I realised, what a huge pieces of ice are those! Penguins are so small they can be hardly seen. Nice one!

Kind regards,
Jeri
