hi, this is a majestuous one. Actually I prefer your version than the one that has been workshoped. It seems to me (being used to mountains a bit), that the colour are more natural in the first version. Both the sun and the moon in the same time. It appears sometime in Europe, but they are very far... You are like as lucky as the little prince (book from St Exupery, french writer): he was living on a so small planet that he only had to walk in order to see the sunset. Do not put curtains on that window !

I was on the shore close to the station the 6th november 2005... my first landing in Antarctica.

Your composition is very well done and the evening light is wonderfull.

hmm, for the map, you have to sign "-" the west longitude ant the south latitude.

I agree with Limule, you're original version set s a more beautiful scene and captures the sun's light more softly.

Tez chcialbym miec podobny widok z okna:)Zdjecie jest ladnie skomponowane, kolorki fajnie wyciagniete, coraz bardziej przekonuj sie do cyfry:) Kompozycja - klasyczna. Podobnych zdjec ze wszystkich orskich zakatkow globu sa setki. Ale jako ze jest estetycznie wykorzystana pozostaje mi jedynie pogratulowac.

Piotr,
I can't believe what my eyes are seing !!!
The composition is always perfect, the light also, and the Moon is "the cherry on the cake" as we can say in France !

Stunning clarity and color. The blues and golds contrast each other nicely and the feeling of being on the edge of the earth is enhanced by the slope and the moon. Well done.

Hi Piotr,
I collect photos taken from people's windows and this must be the most unique of all. the composition is so awesome that I lack words to describe it aside for your perfect title, truly a place where the the moon meets the sun.
