This Adeli Penguins climbed on this iceberg because it was Leopard Seal in the water. Leopard Seal is very dangerous predator, when penguin is in their jaw it cut penguin like a knife. Seal hit pinguin to the water surface to take his skin with feathers out, it is really impresive view.

Czesc Piotrze,

ciekawa fotka. Mysle ze nawet bez pingwinow byloby fajnie. Taki ultra minimalistyczny landscape.

Lovely! I enjoyed your little story too.
Very cute minimalistic composition to enhance the 'lost' mood you told us about. I love the bluish cast here. At first i was tempted to tell you the frame is a bit too heavy...but now, after a second thought, it might serve the purpose to give balance with the pinguins' figures.
Does the Emperor Pinguin live there too?
tfs and take care!
Marija

Witaj Piotrze.. Pozdrawiam Tomasz

Très jolie photo on dirait qu'ils surfent

Hi Piotr,

very wonderful picture
the blue ice looks so awesome
and the pinguins, they are so cute, lost there

Hi Piotr,
Wonderful artistic and poetic composition.
Wonderful ice's wave.
Wonderful blue color.
Great pov.
TFS,
Corinne

Hi Piotr, a stunning photograph. You have used the ice sheet, accentuated by the blue temperature of the light, to isolate the two penguins and you have done so beautifully. Very special. Stephen

I like how the tiny penguins are standing on top of this huge, frozen wave. As usual a very creative, outside-of-the-box composition which IMO works well here.

Hors du commun ca, tellement incroyable comme moment....c'est fou ce que t'as capturé là !
En plus t'as réussi à prendre un pdv intéressant et soigner le cadrage.
Vraiment sympa cette photo.
Bien fait

Hi Piotr.
A nice shot, well presented and framed.
The soft colours which give a sense of calm are very much in contrast with the dramatic note.
A excellent post.
Regards, Robert

CIAO PIOTR!!!

Great minimal shot. Nice blue and white colours. Good border, doesn't matter it's broad, it fits the image.
Good composition, thank you for your cold share :)
Greets from Holland, close to other pole...well..maybe not that close..

pretty nice =) i like minimal =)

Hello Piotr,

La fable du manchot et du phoque léopard. Composition originale et commentaire encore plus inattendu.

Piotr, there are not many destination that would make me jealous, however Antarctica definitely is one of few. You've got some great shots from there. This one is particularly interesting as the snow looks like sea wave and presence of those beautiful penguins really adds feeling of scale. You have to tell me how did you get there and how is to live there for some time!! Have a great time there. Lucie

Must be a fantastique experience... un beleivable colors and scene... Bravo!
