Our Daily life in Antarctica.
Very often we cross Ecology Glacier, there are a lot of dangerous crevasses...

A wonderful action shot of commuting to work. Perhaps just a little underexposed on the Jumper, but looks like the exposure metering would not have been easy in the circumstances. I like this shot.

Thrills and chills. What a great timing for this shot. How deep is that crevasse?

Owooo So nuts!
I'm thinking that I'm looking a movie scene. I like the moviments and POV. Maybe it needs a little more lights. I try corect this in photoshop, but the problem is the snow that became overexposed.
Thanks for this Antartica sequece.

Very nice action shot, I feel there is lacking some motion in the shot. This guy almost seems to simply hang here.
Nice framing to really bring out the ice and snow.
I would imagine you have to cross quite a few crevasses down there, but you (hopefully) don't jump the really wide and deep ones do you?
Thank you for sharing.

Wow, what a pov to show us this guy jumping. So well timed, Piotr. Great view of his axe and the thing under his boots...sorry I don't know the name in English.

Si c'est la vie quotidienne, elle est très dangereuse ! Belle prise pour ce moment décisif. J'aime beaucoup cette image mais le cadre noir me semble trop important (?). Beau travail. Merci.

One word comes to mind - insanity! It's a very sharp image - what shutter speed did you use?

Great leap of faith. It appears there is a little too much highlight. Excellent POV. Well done!

it seems to me that you were in just as much danger as the guy jumping the chasm. your shots all seem to tell a story of life in the antarctic. though rugged and cold, it must be truly wonderful to live in so raw an environment. i applaud and thank you from the bottom of my heart.

This photo is just impressive!
The funny thing is that it looks like me! Same shape, same helmet, same jacket color, same pants color, etc...
The thing is it,s not me buy I would really like to get there one day jumping crevasses like that! hehe!

Great jump! not easy to make the first step. I know what it means to jump a crevasse and it's not easy.
The picture is very well captured.
Hasta la vista,

Hi Piotr, An excellent action photo showing your colleague jumping across danger. The timing is very good. It looks like an exciting job you have to be in such a remote part of the world. TFS. Murray.
