Paradise Harbour was so named by 19th century whalers who found it a perfect haven from the sometimes rough waters of the Gerlache Strait, giving them the safe anchorage.

Wow, this is amazing! The perspective is wonderful and those ice hills look great. I also like the reflections of the sky in the water. The details in the ice are nice and sharp, but the sea and sky are a little grainy, but besides that, I really like the composition and scenery. Very nice!

We don't see too many pictures of Antarctica, Nikolay; you have an impressive gallery. Crystal clear photo of a stunning landscape. Good POV with the small blocks of ice leading your eye through to the ice mountains behind.

It is summer up here, and a hot one! Apparently the hottest recorded in 50 years! So I forgot this type of weather and environment.

another great antarctica shot. I find this one very well exposed, and the colors well contrasted. It's also good to see the reflection of the high clouds in the water. Nice shot!

Wow, shots like these really make me want to get to Antarctica. I looks like another world. I love all the different textures shapes and lines of the ice, well captured here in your beautiful image.
