[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Calm day, it is something really special on Antarctic archipelago South Shetland Islands. Last week it was windy and all ice on a bay (I showed photo from one week before HERE) was destroyed by wind. Big waves break ice and gave them rounded shape. Than, during low tide ice was looking for me like a giant ice-hokey pucks...

Spectacular view from a rarely photographed area. The composition is nice because the 'pucks' makes for a nice foreground in the white-on-grey image. Well done on exposure in these challenging lighting conditions.

Best,
Mikkel

Hi Piotr. Fascinating icescape. Excellent details, considering the ever present glare.Clever title. regards. Klaudio.

this photo is quite impressive and rare! thanks for sharing this! pity the light is so scarse. maybe PS could have helped you push up a bit the light and contrasts? did you give it a try? anyway, a unique piece of photography!

Eric

PS: I tried a ws. Hope you will like it;-)

Hi Piotr. We don't often see shots from Antarctica. This one is a beauty, with a very good exposure in difficult conditions; I know that it is very hard to expose snow well, even in overcast weather. The pattern of the 'pucks' looks marvellous and you also have a sense of depth, looking across to the other side of the water. Well done.
Regards,
Andrew

Though I'de wishe so more contrast, I still find the view breathtaking. Especially thinking of the temperature you had to bear there ;)
Thanks for sharing!
Pris.

A gdzie ty tam chlopie wyladowales??? No, tam to mnie jeszcze nie bylo. Juz za samo przebywanie w takim miejscu masz dwa punkciory. Bardzi interesujaca kompozycja. Az zaraz mi sie zimno zrobilo. Pobyt tam to musi byc cos niesamowitego?!
Pozdrawiam.

Witaj,
Bardzo ladne sa te lodowe obiekty w delikatnym swietle zza chmur. Ciekawe miejsce, wyglad ma bardzo tajemniczy i troche nieprzystepny.
Podrawiam,
Agnieszka
