| This picture was taken in Antarctica during a cruise aboard the Nathaniel B. Palmer icebreaker. We were studying glaciers and glacial erosion. This particular bay (with this beautiful glacier) had very still waters. The picture was taken in low light while the ship was moving. |

This picture is nice, but there is a lack of sharpness in the background, may be the weather was stormy ot misty? Otherwise, nice reflection in the water!

Gee... this feels very cold. was it?. The blue cast, still waters and icy background laced in mist really speaks of what life must be like there in that far away place.
