Warm sunny day (—1 ºC) in Neko Harbour on Antarctic Peninsula. Ice and snow everywhere...

Numerous Gentoo penguins (Pigoscelis papua) follow their trails from the nests to the harbour and back.

Voilà encore une photo fantastique, trè vivante et documentaire. Le titre bien trouvé.
Au niveau technique, rien à redire, comme bien souvent sur tes photos.
Couleurs superbes, beaucoup de naturel.

Waw Nikolay, a warm day!!! Splendid composition with all this Pengun's, the small paths give a nice depth and good perspective, the snow on the foreground give a nice contrast against the dark sky.

Hi Nikolay, I like this well captured photo. A -1ºC temperature is a pretty warm day in Antarctica I guess. The snow has melted out in their highway. Well composed, good capture and nice contrast. Thank you for sharing this photo.

Well, I sure have enjoyed learning about penguins on this site from you and trip! Wonderful to see how they go from their food to their nests and they certainly look very safe here.

Hi Nikolay. I love the nature action shot. I like the perspective and how we can see right up their pathway. Good control over the light and exposure in bright conditions. The sky adds interest as well. Very good shooting Nikolay!

Nikolay -- Great photo, the sharpness and detail of the bright snow are excellent.
As you know I was here 2 weeks before you, and it looked different! The snow was not melted yet...
Very interesting that the Gentoos keep following the same trails and digging them deeper, all the way to the ground -- it must be easier for them to walk on the ground than the snow. All I have at this point is a bad scan of it but I will try to post my photo of this hill as a workshop here... I think you will find it interesting.
