Photographer’s Note
Warm day (—1 ºC) in Neko Harbour on Antarctic Peninsula. The sun burns away the mist. Ice and snow everywhere...

I like the simplicity, textures, and sharpness of this snowscape. The light and shadows are beautifully exposed here.

Hi Nikolay,
A very nice series of Antarctica with wonderful snow mountains, the relief in the snow and the fog at the rightside make you photo very excellent.
Nice job Nikolay.
Greetings,
John.

Warm day, white day... The texture of the snow/ice is very nice.
I Like the blue corner in the sky.

You don't hear the word "warm" and Antarctica very often! A good capture of a very white featureless place. Good control over the exposure and contrast. A very nice shot.

Wow, nice picture taken during this "warm day" of the south polar region. The ice and the snow is very well exposed. This is very well done! Bravo!

Hello Nikolay,
Indeed almost a warm day for this polar region (and almost disturbing about the climate...). The exposure is well balanced, giving a bright light but no overexposure. The mist is a good add to reinforce the whiteness of this frigid desert. For me it's an unusual shot, Nikolay.

A very fine photograph of a place i would like to see. Nice landscape with good light & shadow on the hills and an attractive mist in the air.
