Antarctica exists on TE!
There are numerous icebergs in the narrow channels between Antarctic Peninsula and small islands... Cold, cloudy but calm weather. On the Zodiac boat near Cuverville Island.

Hi Nikolay, you've really captured how an iceberg looks close-up with this picture! The cerulean blue of the crevaces, against the purple-grey of the sky compliment each other well. Nice range of white-grey-blues in the composition. Thanks for posting. Linda

I see they finally realised Antarctica is a continent. I too like the contrast of the blue ice and the grey sky. I would like to visit one day if I get rich, but as long as I work for the government that will not happen.

I really like the colors in this shot, mainly because they are so strange but also so true. Purple sky, blue-green ice, black water... when the sun is not shining, that is how it is. Equisite forms and carving on the 'berg.

You captured the delicate blue-green in the cracks of ice very well here; the background of grey skies contrasts it beautifully - great use of lighting and well done.

yes you indeed captured the whites and blues flawlessly. you have a good framing of the iceburg and a nice inclusion of background and side features. you captured the ruggedness of this place very well too. another good one!

Bonjour Nikolay,
je voisici de très séduisantes colorations de bleu dans le glace , et le blanc derrière qui tranche admirablement avec ce ciel couvert.
Beaucoup de luminosité dans ta photo malgré le temps couvert.

Amazing blue colours - I read an article once which explained the different colours which ice can have - and this surely a fine example of blue ice - thanks Nikolay - a fine job - and it very few people who have the change to actually see this - good of you to share.
