Photographer's Note
Bab el Mansour is considerated how the most beautiful gate in Morocco, it was the main entrance of imperial city of Moulay Ismail, being completed by his son in 1732. Here we can see a lateral view. Some pieces used here were stolen in Volubilis ruins.

It is a beautifully decorated gate. You have captured the architectural beauty of it, with some local life in the foreground to make it come alive. Nice lighting. Well selected angle shows the gate three dimentions. Good job!

Hi Jorge
I agree it was the best gate that I saw in Morocco. A good photo with a good human dimension as well. Also love the touch of modern technology (security cameras) - don't remember seeing them 3 years ago.
cheers

Dear Jorge,
Nice, soft light and a nice view despite the shadow on the wall.
I would be inclined to tilt up the image towards the left and maybe crop from the bottom to add to the upper part.
With frieddship,
Erdem
PS: This "stealing" business is not new, in my native country, almost all civilisations did it, taking the "ready" stones, architectural elements from the ruins of past civilisations.
The Romans did it, Justinian did it during the construction of St Sophia in Istanbul in the 6th century by "stealing" the colums of the Artemission, which was one of the seven wonders of the world; the Knights of St jean did it during the construction of the Castle of Bodrum in the 15th century by "stealing" stones of yet another of the seven wonders of the world, Mausoleum of Maussollos at Halicarnassus, etc.

You were watched by a lady when taking this, Jorge.
Fine shot on the gate and side of a big wall, decorated with colored tiles, a version of the "Azulejos". A beautiful style, and good light managed.
Boa tardes,

Hello Jorge,
Another architectural beauty. I love the warm colors of the gate with beautiful art work. Lovely designs and colors. The people animate the gate. The glimpse of blue sky makes a nice color contrast.

Hola Jorge.
Gran nitidez y buena luminosidad.
Pasa un buen dia.
Saludos.

Hi Jorge
The column of the left is definately brought from the Roman ruins site, it's so delicately designed and crafted with green color breaks the monotony. Good crop with lively human interactions and atmosphere, colors, & sky hues with beautifully warm tones. Beautiful shot from a delightful spot, Well done.
Warm regards
