While crossing the souqs and markets of Meknes I found this curious collars made with dry figs, a curious and traditional way to transport and sell these delicious fruits.

Só que a aparência deles assim não fica lá muito apetitosa, ao menos na foto! Parecem larvas... sei lá o que, pelo menos no thumbnail... depois que se abre, melhora um pouquinho! rsrsrsrsrrs

nice the tight frame from the dry figs in braids that are also so common in my country.I like the clarity and the sharpness of the image with the light management to are superb.
You must know that this dry figs are very delicious as tasteful too.

In Israel they are sold exactly like this, with a wire bonding like a neckless...

Também nunca tinha visto figos assim para vender enrolados em forma de colar , gosto deles secos com nozes e amêndoas dentro , mas assim não sei tem ali alguns estão a ficar desfeitos , bom efeito gráfico , parabéns !!

Lovely sight. My grand mother used to dry figs on the flat roof of her house and then string them up like this.But the best figs are those picked ripe from the tree. Nice, compact image. Regards. Klaudio.

This resembles the bigger version of prayer beads! Lovely crop and closed up, so well detailed revealing the natural textures and colors. Exposure is great and this also makes an effective graphic-abstract picture but it's interesting slice of local culture. Well taken shot, TFS

What a great idea for a pattern shot. I like the little squiggles in some of the necklaces, they break the pattern to give it more interest. Beautiful colours and exposure. Tiny bit blurry on bottom, but mostly good DOF.
