Decumanus Maximus was the main street of Volubilis, there were stores with arches in front and the costumers could be protected by the sun and the rain under arches. In the central part of the street there was a closed drain to take away the excrements and used waters.

A Decumanus Maximus era a via principal de Volubilis, havia uma série de lojas diante dela com colunas e arcos onde os fregueses podiam andar sem apanhar sol ou chuva. No centro da rua havia um canal de esgoto fechado.
