CROSSING THE CHAOS, a photo from Fes, North

Photographer's Note

One of the most interesting things to see in Moroccan town is its markets, medinas and souqs where we can find lots of people and curious clothes, objects, goods and bizarre situations. In some aspects crossing the main routers of these areas is like to be lost in a chaotic labyrinth. I tryed to take nice images of these areas but the places were usually dark and vendors hate photos.
Here I was crossing a Medina in Fes city, we can see two mules in the scenery, one is taking cokes and the other is taking water.I stayed lost many times in fez Medina and I crossed this same point many times.

Uma das coisas mais belas de se conhecer nas cidades marroquinas é seus mercados, souqs e medinas onde podemos nos deparar com pessoas com trajes curiosos, mercadorias malucas e situações bizarras. Contudo estar ali é como cruzar um labirinto juntamente com uma multidão caótica. Tentei tirar boas fotos destas áreas mas os locais são quase sempre escuros e os vendedores odeiam câmeras.
Aqui eu estava cruzando uma das rotas principais da medina, podem identificar duas mulas, uma carregada de coca-cola e outra com água. Fiquei perdido durante muito tempo em Fes e passei por este lugar muitas vezes.

Isso é mesmo um souk marroquino:)! Tanta coisa para ver nestes locais e já reparei que nem faltou o burro a passar. Não são sitios fáceis, mas mostraste bem a azáfama do local. Bem captada!

Hello Jorge - This is a marvellous shot. The hustle and bustle of the market is palpable. Your composition is tops - I love the inclusion of the bags along the RH side, they add to the feel of jam-packed spaces. The colours and deep shadow areas work so well together. really this chaos in the very very narrow alleys in Fes are so,surpising and unknown from us.During my walk there, three times horses of mules full of skins over them walk in the narrow alley and by the skin of one's teeth, can protect yoursepf from an injury.Excellent the reportage shot from Fes.

Também acho que me perdia neste tipo de ruas apertadas e cheias de comércio :) é uma confusão total ,interessante a mula com as caixas de cola e agua , as vezes é como voltar atrás no tempo ver cenas iguais a esta nos tempos de hoje , parabéns!!
