Quality problems aside, I like this photo. Though, I think you shouldn't have cut off his fingers. Also, he is looking down at something (and his hand is reaching for it) so you should have either included it, or focused more on his glance, making the viewer curious as to what he's looking at.

I agree with the previous critique. I think it would have been nice to see what he's looking at. It's a fanatastic comp. But the quality of this photo is not great. However, I noticed on your profile that you scan your photos. Perhaps you do not have a good scanner? Or it is not on the right setting? If this had better clarity and richer colours it would be amazing.
