Hi David,
It must be amazing to be standing there and soaked by the spray from these mighty waterfalls. Vertical format works well to convey their height and I like the fluffy white clouds.

A straight classical pov but in that case, it's ok. Nothing else to enjoy than the waterfall, which seems to be really huge !! And the vertical frame was the good choice for that vertical subject !!!

You really saw much more water that I did in September. And I believe the spray from the falls was too much wet, for you and for the camera. But, just for the beauty of the place it is worth the sacrifice. It is a wonderful view/picture.

Hi David!
As you can notice in my pictures, I do love waterfalls and I have recently visited one of them in Brazil!
Of course, I know of these ones you show me in this fabulous picture and I'd surely want to visit them some time in my life!
It has a pretty interesting POV and great colors!
Thanks for sharing - Congratulations!

David,
Abolutly stunning scnerey and powerful waterfall judging from your photograph. Wow, must be impressive to be there. I would have wish the POV to be higher so we can also see the river from the top, but this is still impressive the amount of waters that flows down. Great image. So many things to do and see in Africa, I had to skip Victoria Falls.

I would love to go there some day. I understand finding a satisfactory POV is not easy because of the narrowness of the gorges. I like the way you have composed this, with the grass at the bottom and an attractive sky at the top. We can see the power in the water; big risk to your camera! Did you have to clone out any drops on the lens? Good shot

Dave, fantastic view of these famous waterfalls. I would have been concerned with my camera as you must have been but well worth it, The size & ferocity has been well captured in good colour & detail.
Thanks

Hi David,
Wonderful shot!!! I had seen the face from the Zimbabwe side, never saw the Zambian face before!!!!
The torrent of water looks stunning. Nice notes too.

Hi, David -
A very different perspective here! I also like the way the image is neatly divided into horizontal sections - it works without being obvious or overdone.
Best,
Dan
PS: I remember getting soaked on this side of the falls, and that was in June - low water season. Didn't help.

David,
an interesting minimalistic approach in three levels of these most famous waterfalls. I wonder in what respect these falls are the largest one. The drop, the extension, the water volumen per second ... ?
This is one of the many places that I dream to visit in Africa at one point in my life.

Hi David,
Interesting how the texture of the water is very similar to the clouds. This image is very nice. The colours, sharpness and exposure are very well combined. The view is majestic and make me realize how much more larger is than Niagara Falls. Thanks David.

Beautiful shot David. I was there last November but the water was much less unfortunately. This one is impressive! Congrats!
