Photographer’s Note
Nsongwe, a small Village in southern Zambia. Small village with typical African huts and families living together. Smiling faces and hard life. Suddenly there were several modern houses - the Nsongwe School. The headmaster Ms. Seraphina Sikuvwaza was very friendly and open and willing to guide me through the school. The school was build by the government, each 2 teachers shared a small house on the school campus and children aged 6 till 15 did spend their time there as any other children in Europe, America or Australia. A young teacher did care about a group of pre-school children in the open air under a big baobab tree. One of those children did attract me the most - like shouting at me "It's me, here I am!". More pictures from this village and more about the hard life there to follow.

Did you use photoshop to create the effect of blur? I'm glad to see a bit of creativity :-) even if I'm not a very good friend of such effcts in documentary photos. Good moment anyway and good note too.

Very nicely done. You did a fine job of isolating the boy with the great look on his face. Greetings from the US.

Superb effect with the zoom, I never yet tested but here it is successful. This boy is detached well from the remainder of crowd.
Very interesting
