Whilst in Livingstone we asked a taxi driver to take us to a market place where the locals shop. I cannot remember the name of the town. The market was a poor one with cheap shoes, clothes and plastic things from China, recycled clothes supposedly from western countries and locally grown produce. I remember thinking of how miserable the place must be when the rains turn the dust into mud.
The people there were friendly and I did stop and chat to a young man who was reading the newspaper. He was well informed, confident and amicable and quizzed me about Australian politics.
Everywhere we went whilst in Livingstone we came across friendly and hospitable individuals despite the disparity between their lives and ours.
I took this photo when I saw these very tall young men walking in unison and obviously in a good mood.

Real a typical picture out of Africa, big people walking about the street, together the small shops along the street.
Nice daily life picture with the market in foreground.
Excellent composition, pleasant colors.
Very well done, TFS.
Have a nice day,

I like how the four walk into the scene. Walking tall, proud and self-assured. The environment includes lots of African 'couleur locale', which is another big plus.
Apart from that really awful chice of football shirt, there's not much to complain about here. :)
Cheers & tfs.

This is not a wealthy place, we can easily see that, but I can detect the pleasant atmosphere that you describe in the note. The four men have done their best to make the picture colourful. There are more colours and fine details to watch in the small stalls by the road. The two trees form av great background. Even the wires play a part in the composition.

Hi dear Klaudio,
You're capturing well this place by a good and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see local market in Zambia and visitors. The placed article looks popular although the building is simple. It's impressive in the tree with purple flower in behind, too. And, tall people walking on the ground give a strong impact in this image. Although I have not been to Africa once, I'm interested in this other world.

Those men ceratinly are tall and make an interesting subject set against the market stalls. A picture full of colour and interest - very well taken.

Hello Klaudio. I would also like to travel the beautiful Zambia. Unfortunately, this country is still on my white list. Country and people really interest me much. Your photo shows aspects of this country. The photo has succeeded all around and very nice. The people in the picture are essential for me :-))

Indeed, these men are very tall, looking rather like Masai. The people in poor countries are usually friendly , smiling and hospitable. I have good memories from all the places where I was, lately in Africa, before in Myanmar, Laos, India or Guatemala, for example. When you are friendly and smiling, they are friendly and smiling too. And often the have just nothing.
Stunning for me in this shot is this blossoming jacaranda tree.

Hello Klaudio, one can find many details about the daily life in Africa in this composition. The presence of people in front and even electric wires at the top add dynamism to your photo. The presence of beautiful jacaranda at the background is the bonus. Best regards.

a superbly observed, captured and framed scene from daily life in that far away and unfamiliar market place. You've captured the tall young men with their decisive pace and cheerful mood in a wonderful way. I love the sharpness, the perspective and the fact that we can see all four of them with their individual style and bearing. The scene has a fascinating naturalness enhanced by the marvellous lighting and colours. The title you chose for this picture is magnificent. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great day,
