A view of the Victoria Falls through the forest foliage.
Victoria Falls are roughly twice the height of North America's Niagara Falls and well over twice the width of its Horseshoe Falls. In height and width Victoria Falls is rivalled only by South America's Iguazu Falls.

I was here in the rainy season, and was lucky that the two times I went to the falls were both clear days. There was a lot of mist and noise created from these thundering falls.

I know this same POV but the difference is about the volume of water. In September there much less water and the view is not so spectacular. It is a magic place and I would gladly return again. Your photo is just wonderful. Well done.

Without your note it is hard to realize the size of these falls but they are beautiful! I like the pov and the colors are very natural. This is framed very nicely by the trees. TFS and have a happy day !

Hi David,
Very good framing created by the branches of this magnificent water falls ... such power of the rapids is just awesome. Well captured and composed! tfs
Cheers,
Renier

Hello David,
I can barely imagine the noise and the power of this immense waterfall. I like the way you framed them using the vegetation and the contrast between the green and the blue of the sky; thanks very much for the note to let us know how big they are and what a wonderful view and experience must be this one you are sharing with us. Have a great weekend.
Regards,

Igor

Hello David,
a great rendition by you of the iconic waterfall. Excellent point of view and what a great composition. The greens, the blue and the silky white water falling.
Well executed shot.

ciao David,

nice idea to frame the Vicfalls through the forest....it makes it quite different from the typical shots from this marvellous place

ciao
Silvio

This is on my ever-growing list of places to visit.(and Iguazu) Even though we can't see the full height of the falls you have captured the majesty in the frozen movement of the water. The framing by the trees works very well.

Hi David,
Superb capture, I've not seen the falls from this angle. Wonderful depth, using the foreground canopy of leaves. Good sharps and detail. Excellent shot.
cheers
Peter

Hello Dave
This looks like Iguazu falls from a distance. Fantastic rush of water with the greens thrown in to compliment the scene. It is also my dream to visit Victoria and Angel falls, then I will be happy with my waterfall treks.
Regards
Jim

Hello David,

Very well use of natural framing, the colors are nice and warm, I wonder what effect a slower shutter speed would have had on the shot.

Well done

Best wishes,

Hi Dave. I went to Niagara falls last year and got saturated in one of the tourist boats and if this one is twice the size then I’m already impressed! Great photo. Well framed with the foliage. Nice work and thanks for sharing.
Have a good week, Paul.

Hello David
Very good framing of this mighty falls, with the trees & the hanging branches. The sound from the waterfalls must be deafening...but the beauty & the feeling must be awesome. A place I do want to visit sometime. Thanks for sharing this good picture!

Hello Dave, It is sometimes difficult to capture what we see I think here the sheer size of these falls may have been difficult to capture but the almighty power of that falling water is well captured, well framed & in natural colour.
Well done
Cheers
Santo
