This shot was taken at Chiawa camp in the Lower Zambezi Park in Zambia. I know that elephants like to savor the vegetation that most other animals avoid in the proximity of people, but I was nonetheless surprised when I saw this large elephant trouncing down the narrow path that connects the chalets. I snapped a few photos and then decided wisely to make some room for him. In the end he was joined by two others at the dining room area and since they are the largest land animals on Earth, they seemed to be not bothered by our presence.
