Nothing better than the Victoria Falls for a background! And it looks like the water level was at its maximum. The girl is beautiful and the portrait came out to be excellent. The kids in Zambia look great. Well done.

Such a lovely portriat of the girl, love the sparks in her eyes, and the bright and cheerful color of her shirt and the background. Nice and sharp. Well done.

Hi David,
The falls have made a wonderful background for this pretty little girl. Nice soft light to bring out her features, and a good slightly off centre composition. Simply lovely!

Wow! This is a beautiful portrait that seems perfect for a travel brochure for Zambia. Her slightly asymmetrical smile really enhances one's interest in the subject. Bravo!

She is simply cute and the way you composed the background makes it... unreal !!! The light on the girl is perfect, on may think it's studio flash, then the background would be a poster !! Funny and excellent.

Hi David,
I have seen this amazing portrait before and I am finally getting around to critiquing it. This is a marvelous portrait and a very difficult one to do because of the tricky lighting. It has been said over and over again that a great photograph requires no explanation. This beautiful child is obviously African and your background is obviously Victoria Falls and you blended the cultural and landscape elements like a master! I especially like the girl's warm and natural expression. A vastly underrated travel image! Your outstanding portrait has tremendous emotional appeal and is going right into my favorites!

I love this portrait of the young Zambian girl who actually knows how to pose for the camera. Capturing the Victoria Falls in the background is an added bonus and makes for a great capture!
