Photographer’s Note
Something different - this was taken from horseback in Zambia near Lusaka (at a lodge called Chaminuka) with my trusty little Cannon Digital Elph. I love how the Lechwes' colors and horn shape work with the grasses.

Well Sherry, it is a very nice photo and the horns do blend well with the tall grass...I'm sure it was something to see them so close. What I think you have here, however, is something more special (at least for me) than Lechwes. By all appearances...the shape of the horns and ears, facial markings, tail and mane on the back of the neck...is not Lechwe, but the beautiful Sable antelope. A wonderful experience to be able to see one of these great creatures in the wild!
