Hi David, Nice shot. A wonderful expression and I like the cropping and DOF with the kid in the back. But I wonder why you thought it necessary to desaturate either the front or the back? I think this would have been just as lovely all colour or all B/W. Anyway, well done!

Nice portrait with a very good DOF. The colors are well exposed but I find it a little too much cropped on the top. Anyway, it's still a nice picture!

A beautiful portrait and interesting crop! Very lovely colours. I'd probably get rid of the spots just left of his head. You can do that with photoshop: Filter, Noise, Dust and Scratches.
