Woman from Bwindi Photo

Photographer’s Note

People of Uganda are really beautiful, like this woman. They dislike to be photographed and are ready to jump into bush just to avoid you to take their picture, unless they do not know, you wan to take their picture. I saw this women in the middle of nowhere in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. I drove many kilometers and still had many kilometers ahead of me, however she was marching to her destination undisturbed and fresh, like you just slip out to get your Saturday newspapers.

this is an excellent shot. I just came back from Uganda and taking shot of people is quite difficult there, as they are quite shy in this regards. like the colors and also the composition and the scene itself with the pipe and the stuff on top of her head. Very original!
