Photographer's Note

One of the most amazing things about Uganda is the colors; especially the green can become almost fluoroscent. There has been no post processing on this picture, the colors are real.

The vivid colours makes this a very interesting image despite the lack of a motive proper. Perhaps because the interchange between green and blue provides some depth along with some interesting graphic properties.

In criticism, I think that the picture would have benefitted from having something in focus. Everything is a bit soft 'n blurry. A note on the very interesting place would have been great too.

Hello Nana. I like your picture. It is a contrast of colors which is very interesting. The two different greens of the grass and the different blue create a very interesting atmosphere.

Yes, great shot of this landscape !
I like very much the contrast between the dark sky and the sunny foreground. These fluorescent colors make me remember an other opposite country : Iceland !
One critique : your shot should have been more sharpened to be posted here (resizing often make pictures a bit blur)

Impressive color and atmosphere you have rendered in this picture.Maybe it'll be more interesting if you've put the lens a little lower to cover some reflection of the grass in the water.Well done!

Really amazing the colours, but not only the green you mention: it is the contrast with the flourescent green an the almost electrical blue which is remarkable, especially where the water between the bushes reflects the sky.

the colours certainly look fluorescent. but what about the sky? if this picture was taken from a boat (as it seems, somehow), weren't you afraid? that sky looks menacing, and i wonder what happened after the picture was taken? i think the attraction of the picture lies in the combination of a friendly sunny river view, in combination with the dark, heavy sky in the background, seemingly coming closer.

Hi Nana, beautiful colors here, it's amazing that there was no PP to make those colors glow! It looks a bit surreal with the bright greens under the dark sky. The lighting must have been interesting that day. Well-captured!

the photo is a bit bland, but since you wanted to show us the amazing colors in Uganda, which I suppose, then you get my point, the framing worked well in here. Yeah, the colors are bizarre since no PP was attributed to the photo, interesting huh? Anyway, thanks for sharing, it's still a good photo!
