Photographer's Note

Where my last post of the mountains around Kisoro has surprised some of you because Uganda brings out associations of 'typical African' landscapes, this one will be more in line with the expectations.
I have decided to make a series of the landscapes of Uganda to show the diversity of this country.

Here you see the view from our camp just outside the southern tip of the Queen Elizabeth National Park, 'at the river Ishasha', a delicious place that i can recommend to all.
We had just finished the most exiting part of our cycling journey because we came through a part where lions could walk around and we actually saw a group of Elephants passing by.
In the camp, where we ate at the beach of the river, you could here the sounds of monkeys, elephants and lions at night in the distance.
