Photographer’s Note
Although not on the usual tourist trail, my colleague and I got a personal tour of the new water treatment plant in Masindi. (Our guide's brother works there, and my colleague's dad is a water commissioner, so she wanted to see it.) Anyway, it just opened last fall, and now 70% of people in town and 60% of people in the outlying areas have access to clean running water.

Sensational compo, Mimi. The tilt here is so well judged, leaving this fellow almost floating in thebright Ugandan skies. Escellent balance between the two platforms. Super shot! Cheers, Francis

Hola Mimi: Not the usual shot from you here. I like the tilt, the colors (like industrial tones), the regard of this man. Thanks and take care.

What a dry and factual note to a rather surreal image! Have you seen Australian artist Jeffrey Smart? - this reminds me of his images.

Hi Mimi,
Yea this is some good stuff. Great compo with the two platforms at different heights. Leaves the more colorful one with the man to take the eyes in. Glad to hear they got some clean running water too.
