A visit to Uganda is not complete until you have been on a safari in my opinion.
Uganda can`t compete with South Africa, Tanzania or Botswana with number of animals but on the other hand you have the national parks almost for yourself( we were only 3 cars during my visit)
Many of us remember Uganda as a unstable country with a brutal dictator, torture and abuses. Today most parts of Uganda is safe for tourists and i can highly recommend this beautiful country with warm and friendly people.
This shot is quite unsharp because of the bumpy roads but i decided to post i anyway.

nice note, good to know that this country is more sage nowadays. I like your point of view with the safari car. I don`t see any problem with the sharpness. But I think that using a polarizer and adding more contrast you could have a more life photo. I made a workshop for you showing this, hope you like it.

nice to visit someone these counties of the middle-South Africa. But the political conditions must to are a bit curious and to stay someone there dangerous.
The view of the car as taking place in the safari with the tourists in it must be a great experience.

Few elements, the car and the tree, are the main subjects in this very attractive image.
I think that the quality it isn't so bad!
Congratulations and TFS.

A defender Range Rover with "dome" to photograph.
The beautiful Africa and environmental situations.
Certainly the political instability, religious intransigence. The uncertainty on this property do not attract mass tourism.
I personally would take the plane today so I love a pie noire.
Thank you for the beautiful gallery and sharing

I have loved this picture from the first time I viewed it. Yes, you`re right, most of us think of Idi Amin and his regime while thinking of Uganda. I like the way you have composed the shot with a single car and a single palm. The fact that the car isn`t totally in focus can also be interpreted as a nice way to show motion and then becombes a nice addition to the scene. The red/brown colour of the road adds a fine contrast to the dominating green and blue. Wonderful - keep on shooting:) TFS. Have a nice week.
Best regards, Erling

Excellent composition with the palm, lovely African colors. The wheels look like the eyes of jeep. Very interesting and useful note!

this is quite a characteristic and minimalistic view :)
I don't mind its being a bit unsharp: what's more important is the subject of the photo.
I can only dream of going on a safari in Africa... sometimes I wish I were a man! LOL thus it would be much safer to travel.
meanwhile I can only admire photos taken by others and I have to choose the safest places for travelling as I always travel alone and can rely only on myself!
but maybe... in the future... we never know?? :)
