Hello Toomas,

I basically like all your Uganda pictures. Especially the one on fishing in troubled waters. It clearly explains Uganda or for that matter life in any African slum.
Well, this one also deserves the full 2 points!

It's a pity you don't write more of a note on it. Where are the parents? Why does this kid look after his little brother? Where did you find them?

Have you been travelling Uganda, or working there for an aid organization? I expect the first, since none of your pictures I viewed were from Northern Uganda. But still nice pictures!

Cheers, Dennis

bonjour Tomas again a beautiful portrait of these children, can you explain us some words about this shot.. thanks

Noted are such an important component of images like yours....publishable photos which would be used to accompany stories.

This is a simple yet powerful portrait. In a similar situation you may want to let the person in the background clear the frame before shooting....I don't know if this was possible or not.

Great Job.
Aloha, JB

Hi Toomas,
this is really great portrait.
Tones of the color and sharpness superb.
Regards Krzysztof.

hi toomas,
inspiring...
in principle i'm against pphotographing children, for various reasons, but you know this already :-))
but i also understand that it is practically impossible not to photograph kids in that black continent..they are everywhere, they add real fresh look to that quite often unhappy, and poor place, they also represent a powerful hope, and symbolise what is good...
therefore i much appreciate this double portrait,
best wishes, j.

hi Toomas,
Again a very nice portrait. thanks for sharing. it remembers me at my vacation to Uganda last year. Thanks for sharing.
Greetings
Mirko
