Photographer’s Note
Lake Katwe is a salty lake, placed in a big vulcan crater. It is in an area with many vulcan crater, but none of them are active. The local community is living of the lake natural resources. From here they extract salt for human and animals consumption. They also says that Katwe is one of the warmest places in Uganda, and with my experience, I surely can believe that.
