Sad little angels 1, a photo from Kabale, Western

Photographer's Note

Little angels was the name of an orphanage on the boards of the wonderfuk lake Bunyoni and although the children were singing and clapping on the saturday morning we visited and repeated in their classroom what the teacher told them to, in their looks and eyes the sadness was obvious.

Allthough taken in an orphanage this kis is most probably luckier than many other kids of the black continent who -even in our century- still have to suffer !

Hello Gerrit - The world never seems fair does it? It tugs at the heart strings to see a little soul like this and she does look like a little angel.
