Photographer’s Note

I have been two times in Kampala, and I have always stayed at Hotel International. Every morning I stood up early so I could see the sunrise. It is amazing to sit outside and hear how the city wake up to a new day, and the view of the sun rise above the hill is amazing.

Overbevist om Eiliv at dette var en kjempeopplevelse, men ikke vet jeg, som bilde gir vel dette ikke så mye (ihvertfall ikke her på TE med så uendelig mange sol- opp og nedganger i de mest fantastiske settinger).

It's "just" a sunrise, but it's all the mystic of Africa in there for me(european, never been there)

There is something very generous and warm about this photo -- it certainly is an African sunrise. I like the dark rich colours and even the un-sharpness. Or maybe what appeals so much is that is IS an African sunrise and I'd love to be there. Thanks for posting this.
