Photographer’s Note

As I have said before, mobile phones in Africa are big business, here we see an advertising sign.
This sign could be a printed one, but in many places advertising signs are hand painted and are real works of art in their own right.
The picture shows a normally busy street scene in Kampala. Kampala has a nice climate, hot without questing because it is only just north of the equator, but it is very green because it sits on the edge of Lake Victoria and the source of the river Nile.

Hello Mike,
this is also one of those photos which I like very much and which I always like to see on TE! This is another capture of what tells about a place of people much more than photos of famous historical cultural objects! They are important, too, but without such scenes life would be "lopsided", if I may say so :)
Very good, interesting capture :) there is so much to see in this photo!
