The national symbol of Uganda.
I made some small changes which I think resulted in a dramatic improvement in the image.
First of all I applied a unsharp mask of 20%, 60, 0 to clear up the overall haze and to "blacken the blacks".
Then I cheated a bit by creating another layer and rendering a directional light to brighten the birds face.
Let me know what you think of the improved version.

Nice picture. It could use a bit of sharpening but I love the detail in the feathers...especially the grey. Very nice.

Beautiful shot of a very majestic bird, just wish the top of his crown wasn't clipped. Colors, DOF, framing are all very nice.
