The very small van you have captured is a 4L Renault, just behind it is a Peugeot 404 pickup. Both are the rugged cheap cars that France sold its ex-colonies in great quantities, so it isn't really a surprise to find them in Tunis.
4L are ubiquiteous here in Antananarivo (Madagascar) and with Citroen 2CV the make up most of the taxi fleet of the capital! I'm told 4L make good 2 wheel drive all terrain vehicules...
