Photographer's Note
"Ksar Ouled Soltane is the most interesting and best-preserved fortified village in Tunisia, and is situated 20 km south of Tataouine. It is still used to store grain and olives and is inhabited by the Ouled Chehida tribesmen.
The larger of the two ksar courtyards is sometimes used as a venue for folk shows, especially during the Ksour Festival."

Hello Paul.
It's a very interesting place,I don't be able to see any straight line in this building...,it's beautiful, now I know if sometime I make myself one castle it'll be like this one :)
You show the facade perfectly with all that light over it,and the sky looks wonderful contrasting with the orange building, beautiful again.
Best regards,
Sonsoles.

Hello Paul
A spectacular photo of striking and unusual architecture - the steps don't look strong enough to support any weight. Simple and well composed. Tfs, Marlene

Hi Paul
Interesting repetition, of patterns & shapes within the twin structures, with excellent sharpness, & a superb warm cold colour contrast, between the red mud, & blue sky. Tfs!

This is very interesting and very well composed. A human figure to set the scale would have been perfect.
Searching for perfection, I would crop just a tiny bit on the left (the dark part), and on the right (the last bit of window) to make the composition more clean.
Incredible place anyway !

Hi Paul
I was luck enough to travel to Tunisia, but reluctantly never made it to this area.
very colourful sand, with different pastel shades, with a bright blue sky.
I wish i could have been here!
wonderful photo you have taken, perfect lighting
Have a great weekend
Craig
