Fantastic colors! I would crop it to make it a horizontal photo, but it's good as is as well.

I love this shot. The angle is fanstastic and I love the contrast between the red pools and the white salt deposits. The people milling around are a nice touch. One nit-pick -- to me, the heavy black frame overwhelms this shot, just my opinion.

Hi Ken, I can remember my visiting Tunesia several years ago, and a huge lake Szatt al Dzarid as above.
But water there was not red, but of natural colour. Salt is salt and it was of course white :)
I am very surprised of Your shot!
Although, I like very much the composition, that You share with us and interesting framing too.
