Wandering around the small streets of the medina (Arab quater) in Tunis, there are so many wonderful things to see and photograph including some amazing doors. This medina is on the world heritage list and some of the buildings date back more than a thousand years.

Hi Wanda,

I totally understand your attraction for these singular doors and I appreciate the way you have decided to present them, with other details, like the windows and address plate. We feel a little more into these streets of the medina and we have a sense of curiosity, just like you, approaching corners and alleys.

Have a nice week!

André

Very interesting composition with all this white strong light on these white walls and pavements. Excellent to get us focused on this unique yellow doors with interesting motifs.

Hi Wanda,

I love the contrast between the yellow/blue/red against the white walls. Your composition and POV are excellent. Well done.

Hi Wanda,
the corner of the wall at left is a bit disturbing, I searched first an edge for a coming together of the walls. But may be nothing else was possible. The door and the windows are good coloured and nice presented. Especially the door has a lot of intersting details in the wooden part and also the stonewall.

Hello Wanda,
well captured and cleverly framed shot in a well chosen vertical format. Apart the door, you included in the compo some simple and interesting things, like the national flag, the windows and the sign of the street. Good light control and sharpness, well saturated colours here. Good work! Tfs and best wishes.

Hi Wanda,
It is wonderful, this view of that charming old house, much Tunisian in every detail and clearly denounced by those flags. I like the way you composed it, using the geometry of the the shapes but staying away from a symmetric arrangement while keeping the balance.
Regards, José.

Hi Wanda,
A nicely composed and framed image, with fine textures and soft colors, in a typical view of a medina street and house..
Cheers
Laurent

Hello Wanda,
Well framed presentation of this house, from good POV, sharp details and pastel colors, the Tunisian flags and bilingual street signs show us where we are!

Hi Wanda,
I had a bit of a look at your gallery....a very nice selection.Couldn't avoid noticing this one with its bright yellow door and dashes of red and blue.A simple yet interesting composition with small insights on to this countrys intriquing culture and architecture.A balanced image, very natural and with good texture.Well done and take care.
Regards, David

I also think a close-up of just the yellow door would have worked very well, but I like this wider view that you chose.
There's a lot of little details to enjoy, and the flags give an immediate clue to the location. I'd have liked to have seen a bit of a gap between the road sign and the edge of the frame, but overall this is very well taken.
Good work Wanda.

Cheers,
Ben

Hello Wanda,
A nice minimalist compo, the result is nice, and the door is greatly emphasized.
I like soft colors too, contrasting with the white walls.
Nice one,
Regards,
JB.

Hola Wanda:
Curiosa puerta amarilla cuando alli todas son azules. La forma y la decoracion es igual, pero el color te tuvo que llamar la atencion.
Un saludo desde españa:
Pablo

I like this mixture of primary colors. Very simple but also very nice
