Sunset at Djerba beach Photo

Photographer’s Note

Shot at the beach of Dar Jerba Hotel Complex, in the island of DJerba.

Djerba is a charming little island on Southern Tunisia, maybe a little damaged (it could be worse...) by the quantity of huge package holidays hotels like the one where this photo was shot.

The beach is awesome, with warm and clear water, a real paradise at half the price of the Caribean.

Está bonita esta tua foto com cores muito boas e um POV excelente. As palmeiras contra o céu ficaram muito bem com um contraste muito bom.

Hi Jose,
I like those warm shots. You chose a clear silhouette with those palm trees, this is giving depth. A bit more brightness details on the wall in front or the trees would also help I think.
And a bit less sky by cropping. But that is not enough for a workshop.

I also agree with Ulf that less sky would make the photo more dramatic. Nevertheless, it's a wonderful pic!

Hello Stego,
nice sun effect with the palm trees and the red orange sky. That's the kind of landscape I've become familiar with after going there six or seven times.

Bonjour Jose,
une photo très tropicale d'un coucher soleil.
Le genre de photo qui nous prouve que le soliel existe encore, nous on voit plus souvent sa lumi§re au travers des nuages.

Magnifiques couleurs dans un cadrage très réussi, une exposition parfaite qui détache bien les silhouettes.

Beautiful photo! I love this kind of climate - sun, hot, palms, sea...:) Its a pleasure to see it when its so cold outside at the moment...

Great colours, superb POV and composition. Silhouettes of palms are looking excellent.
