View of Sousse old town - Medina. Photo was taken from the tower of Ribat (fort) - second highest point of Medina.
The highest point - Khalef tower (currently used as a lighthouse) can be seen in the distance. Previously I have posted another photo of the Khalef tower taken from the Mediterranean Sea.
Almost every inhabitable house in Tunisia have satellite dish. The reason - there are just two local TV channels strictly controlled by the government, and no cable TV. Therefore, people need some other sources of information and entertainment. Satellite TV is the easiest way to get it.
