| We caught the train to this coastal village called Mahdia from Sousse for a day trip. The whole town is painted in blue and white with lovely cobbled streets. It was walking down one of these small streets that we came upon these shoes. Mahdia has a nice medina and quite a few interesting buildings. |

It's a shame that this hasn't received more attention, I like it.
It doesn't have a lot of impact on the thumbnail which probably explains the lack of attention, but looking closer there's a lot to like about this.
I like the light and texture on the wall, but above all it's the old shoes stuffed into the window grill that makes this unusual and interesting.
Well done for spotting this little detail that most of us would have missed.
Cheers,
Ben

Hi Wanda!
I agree with Ben: why hasn't it received more attention?? The subject is not that common: what a strange place for shoes!?!...And your job is really great: good frame and fantastic b&w treatment xhich gives the photo an old and genuine aspect (linked with the story of this place, the medina). Anyway...I am fond of B&W photography!
Cheers
Seb
PS: By the way, I like very much your gallery, and I have a special word to add for the koala (so nice, so sweet...and so shame koalas and their environment are not protected a bit more...)
...
Where is Buster Keaton???
Very funny picture.Beautiful wink!
